The Bavarian customs discovered fast food with explosive content. In Freilassing, officials searched a 23-year-old man arriving from Salzburg on Sunday evening and who was already known to police for drug offenses, as the main Rosenheim customs office announced on Monday.
An initial drug search for the man was negative, but officers did not give up.
Sacks of cocaine on cheese
“Experienced officials could not imagine that he would have to return from Salzburg without goods,” explained customs. A paper bag with three warm hamburgers piqued the interest of customs officials. They finally found what they were looking for in one of the cheeseburgers: on top of the cheese were several tightly wrapped sacks with a total of 6.19 grams of cocaine.
