The FPÖ requires a special payment for families and single parents. This is intended to compensate for the additional load caused by the second lock.
The FPÖ requires a special payment for “local families with children and single parents” to offset the additional financial burden caused by the second shutdown, party chairman Norbert Hofer said in a broadcast on Tuesday. Consequently, the family allowance must be paid for the 13th time and single parents must receive double the amount.
Low-income groups particularly affected
“Many families and single parents had to accept a loss of income in the second lockdown and also draw on their savings in this crisis to make ends meet,” Hofer said. The head of FPÖ insisted on financial support for families with children.
FP petition for “general self-sufficiency” with food
After a press conference from the ÖVP farmers union and around the debate on local food, the Freedom Party referred to a petition.
