The auto industry is also affected by tax fantasies

Vienna (OTS) “Small and medium-sized entrepreneurs, already very shaken by the crisis, who are being duped with handouts by the turquoise green government, will be punished for persevering next year. Because from July 2021, the standard consumption tax (NoVA) will also apply to commercial vehicles up to 3.5 tons. This means that a new purchase of such a vehicle will simply no longer be economically affordable for many companies. Even the Wirtschaftsbund, affiliated with the ÖVP, expects additional costs of up to 10,000 euros on an issue, ”explained liberal general secretary NAbg. Michael Schnedlitz.

“In exchange for the retailers, this means that of course fewer vehicles will be sold. This results in another downward economic spiral at a time of economic difficulties. The ÖVP with its Chancellor Kurz is watching our SMEs die and is also providing support. The self-proclaimed business party betrays its own voters without batting an eyelash. Instead of giving incentives to the Austrian economy and better conditions to achieve a rebound, there are additional fines for workers ”, emphasized the Secretary General of the FPÖ, who instead calls for relief for drivers and SMEs.
