The Vienna FPÖ invited the Oktoberfest in Simmering on Saturday and promised a big surprise. There was that too.

The Vienna election campaign is in full swing, at least more or less. Because while the HC Strache team canceled their campaign appearance at Vienna’s Viktor-Adler-Markt on Friday due to the crown (“Today” reported), the FPÖ celebrated widely on Saturday. Many people of freedom came to Oktoberfest at Simmeringer Enkplatz to influence the great blues Norbert Hofer, Dominik Nepp or Herbert Kickl. Surprisingly, only baby elephant was not seen.

Topless party in the tent

FPÖ TV footage of the party (see below) shows a well-attended open tent, numerous red, white and red flags swing to the beat of the John Otti Band, the atmosphere is exuberant. Actually a picture that fits with a hearty Oktoberfest, if not for the coronavirus, which is currently going particularly “viral” in Vienna. Because at a minimum distance – keyword: baby elephant – or MNS protective masks, the blue celebrants whistle as loudly as against the red-green city government.

Here is a small excerpt from the FPÖ’s fifth “birthday” celebrations at the Simmering office building:

The FPÖ is justified “Today”-Ask him that he complied with all the safety precautions: The party was held outdoors, disinfectants were provided and all guests were registered. However, especially in times of increasing numbers of infections in Vienna, a pale aftertaste remains. In the federal capital alone, there were more than 430 new corona cases in just one day.

As a “Today”-The local inspection in Rochusmarkt showed that the FPÖ is not the only campaign party that approaches voters “topless”, without a face mask. More about this HERE >>
