The unforgivable decision of the ÖVP not to buy the Saab 105 is again questioned by this court decision
Vienna (OTS) – “ÖVP Defense Minister Tanner is now called upon to make a decision,” FPÖ defense spokesman NAbg commented today. Dr. Reinhard E. Bösch the decision of the Higher Regional Court of Vienna to suspend the Eurofighter proceedings.
“The inexcusable decision of the ÖVP not to buy the Saab 105 is again challenged by this decision of the Austrian judiciary. Minister Tanner now has to explain how she can guarantee the surveillance of the airspace for Austria with a plane from a company for which there is no longer a sufficient basis for discussion by the Republic ”, demanded Bösch.
“The sale of the Austrian Eurofighters to Indonesia will not only depend on the approval of the operational states of the Germany, Italy, Spain and England group, but also the approval of the US and the Airbus group,” emphasized the defense spokesman of the FPÖ and continued: “Tanner is Now, due to this new situation, it is urgently required to finally create clarity and also ensure an active surveillance of the airspace in the future.”
