Bolzano: Third consecutive away game for HCB Südtirol Alperia, who played today at the TIWAG Arena in the Tyrolean Derby against HC Innsbruck.

After the clear lead in the first third, the Foxes picked up some pace and protected the neutral zone, but not without giving up on attacks. Luckily for Bolzano, when Gerlach did not get the goal into the already beaten Fazio, on the other side Insam played for Miceli, the Innsbruck goalkeeper fought back. Nine seconds before the second tea break, the puck lands in a confusing situation in the white and red casing, the referees immediately used the video evidence: after a long study, the hit was not recognized.
Innsbruck couldn’t find a recipe in the final third to get into trouble for the league leaders, who controlled the sovereign game. After a Bardaro chance early on, Sideroff instead couldn’t use Fazio’s uncertainty and a shot from good position by Ciampini went over Bolzano’s goal. Findlay had the opportunity to score his third goal of the night twice on a rebound for Weißroten. For the chronicle, Ciampini hit the post in the last minute.
