EC GRAND Immo VSV had to admit defeat to HC TIWAG Innsbruck – Die Haie 5: 4-SO despite leading four times. It was the second victory of the HCI via VSV in the second game of the season. In the table, Innsbruck remains in eighth place, Villach is still eleventh.
The guests started the second season duel between HC TIWAG Innsbruck – Die Haie and EC GRAND Immo VSV better. Raphael Wolf made it 1-0 for Villach in the second minute of play. The goal came from a defensive error by Innsbruck. But this time too, VSV’s leadership did not last long. In the 13th minute of the game, HCI managed to equalize again through defender Jonathan Racine-Clarke. It was the first goal of the season for the Canadian. Just four minutes later, Villach again took the lead. Martin Ulmer scored his fourth goal of the season.
