The mass screening of the Austrian population for the corona virus begins Tuesday in the small Salzburg municipality of Annaberg-Lungötz (Tennengau). Annaberg was selected as the municipality for the first mass test in Salzburg because the corona virus has spread so much there in recent days. With this first projection, the state of Salzburg wants to gain experience for the massive tests at the national level on December 12 and 13. Massive tests in the metropolis of Vienna and in the federal states of Vorarlberg and Tirol will begin earlier, on Friday this week.
