“I would like to thank all the fans very much for the wonderful time. I will never forget the images of how we were greeted by the fans in Südstadt shortly after two in the afternoon after our descent. That was a goosebump moment. But sport doesn’t count for me now. I wish the club the best and the team a successful future. Fingers crossed from Croatia, ”Soldo announced in a broadcast.

Patrick Helmes will lead the training until further notice. The former German Bundesliga striker only came to Admira in the summer and is a junior coach and assistant to Soldo.

This means that the fourth coach has taken his place on Admira’s coaching bench in 13 months. The club started last season with Reiner Geyer, followed by Klaus Schmidt and finally in spring Zvonimir Soldo.

In May he had club directors Amir Shapourzadeh left Admira, later followed by Ernst Baumeister’s retirement as sports director, after he had only been installed a few weeks earlier. He was followed by Franz Wohlfahrt, who now has to go find a coach.
