Only during the lunch break was there brief and unprotected contact with two other classmates and four students.
Meanwhile, the two colleagues have already tested negative, all four students have been withdrawn from the service and now also tested negative, ”says Primary Bernd Lamprecht, Director of the Pulmonary Clinic at Kepler University Hospital. There was no unprotected contact with employees of other professional groups. The same is true for hospitalized patients.
A patient who was in contact with the doctor in question during an admission examination was isolated and examined on the instructions of the responsible district administration. The district authorities responsible for the other patients who had contact with the doctor refrained from taking such measures. The isolated lady has not presented any symptoms to date, but the test result was still pending in the afternoon. He should be allowed to leave the clinic again tomorrow.
The doctor in question is in good health, the symptoms that occurred at home at the weekend have already subsided.
