Manuel Feller recently caused a stir with self-produced rap videos. You now have a professionally implemented project from scratch.
The Tyrolean has produced a song alongside an international reggae artist, and it will be released next week. “At first I had a guilty conscience because many artists are waiting in vain for that opportunity and I have the opportunity,” explains Feller in the interview for “Krone.” “But in the end it would have been almost disrespectful to reject that.”
The song was produced remotely through video calls. The project was a secret: “Top secret. Even ÖSV doesn’t know it. I hope I don’t have one on the cover.”
“I hope no one has hearing damage”
The message of the song? “From Austria to the Caribbean, everyone is the same, for everyone: #stayathome!”
Fans shouldn’t expect a vocal masterpiece, as the 27-year-old singer makes clear: “My voice is terrible. Rapping in dancehall beats is easy, but for reggae you need a lot more emotion and talent to sing. I hope no one understands it. Ear damage. But it got a lot of fun. “
Fun is also the most important thing for him on his musical excursions: “I also want to have fun. Life is serious enough anyway, as you can see.”
