42 years old dies in emergency ascent

A 42-year-old man died Saturday in a diving accident in Steinbach am Attersee (Vöcklabruck district). As the Upper Austrian police announced, he should have been in trouble at a depth of 27 meters. Lower Austria did not survive the emergency ascent that began then.
The divers present carried the lifeless man to shore. The alarmed first responders could only have determined death.
Fatal accident in Attersee
The man from Wiener Neustadt went diving with a 32-year-old German at 11.30am. They wanted to stay underwater for up to three hours and dive 150 meters. According to police findings, the 42-year-old had to abort the dive with an emergency ascent at 48 minutes.
