A 47-year-old farmer from Tiefgraben (Vöcklabruck district) was attacked and injured by one of his cows on Sunday night. While trying to carry a detached calf to its place, the animal pushed it against a bale of hay and attacked it with its horns. The mother, awakened by cries for help, managed to get the cow to release the man, police said.

The man looked around 3:45 a.m. at his farm’s barn building, listening to one of his cows mooing loudly. He saw that one of his heifers had disconnected from the connection. When trying to take them back to their place, misfortune happened.
