LASK celebrates a 4: 3 home win over Bulgarian champion Ludogorets Razgrad on matchday two of the Europa League group stage.
The Linzers have a perfect start to the match. Husein Balic can run into the opponent’s penalty area alone, taking a bit of a delay, but then finishing dry (2nd).
A short time later, LASK lets it ring again. After a corner kick from Peter Michorl, Andreas Gruber cleverly reaches the penalty spot and hits with a direct save (12th).
Razgrad makes the game tight again just minutes later. Elvis Manu arrives completely alone in front of Alexander Schlager and does not leave the ÖFB goalkeeper without possibilities (15th).
LASK then really doesn’t let anything burn out and puts a third goal before the break. Marko Raguz is ideally served with a cross from the left by Andrés Andrade and completed with a volley (34).
The Austrian Highs are still there in the second half. Again it is Husein Balic who increases the result with a deflected shot (56º).
Razgrad makes the game exciting again. First is Manu after a counterattack (67th), then Lukas Grgic is sent off after a hand on his own 16 with yellow-red. Manu safely converts the next penalty (73).
LASK is under pressure until the end, but saves the victory over time. Following their first loss to Tottenham, the Linz team won their first three in Group J.
There is bad news for LASK from the side game. Royal Antwerp surprisingly beat Tottenham 1-0 at home thanks to a goal from Lior Refaelov (29th).
The Belgians are group winners with six points, Tottenham and LASK follow with three points, Ludogorets is last without points.
