Probably the most unusual election campaign in American history is entering the final phase. During his campaign appearance, he repeatedly criticized incumbent Trump for dealing with the pandemic. Against Trump’s claim over the weekend that the United States was “over the mountain,” Biden said the number of new cases was at its highest in months. The US economy is still in dire crisis, with millions of people out of work as a result of the wave of the virus.
Trump mocks Biden’s alleged shutdown plans
The president of the United States mocked his challenger Biden because he promised to follow the advice of scientists in the fight against the coronavirus. A little later, Trump accused Biden of imposing an “unscientific blockade” to contain the coronavirus if elected.
The pandemic is still out of control in the United States. More than 8.1 million infections have been detected since the beginning and almost 220,000 people died after being infected.
