The civil police resumed the chase and filmed the road. The 26-year-old driver from the Mattersburg district accelerated his car to a top speed of 209 km / h instead of the 130 km / h allowed despite the evening rush hour.
The driver pushed other drivers out of his lane, causing him to repeatedly fall below the necessary safety distance. On the Eisenstadt ring road, the driver continued to drive at a speed of 158 km / h instead of the 100 km / h allowed there.
Driver’s license removed once
When the vehicle was stopped, technical changes were found that had not been approved, such as incorrect tires, spacers and alteration of the diesel particulate filter. In the case of the owner of the trial driver’s license (his driver’s license had already been taken away due to drug use), officials again determined that he was affected by drugs.
His driver’s license was taken away, he was forbidden to continue his journey and complaints were filed.
