A 24-year-old man was driving a truck under the influence of drugs on the Vienna Outer Ring Motorway (A21). The driver had been searched by officials near Hinterbrühl (Mödling district), so according to the executive, he seemed affected.
A previous test for addictive substances was positive and, during the police medical examination, the inability to drive was determined. The man claimed to have used cannabis.

Authorities learned of the semi-trailer on Monday because the driver had made a phone call without a hands-free system. The truck tour now has great consequences for the professional driver. On the one hand, his driver’s license was temporarily taken away, on the other hand, the man is reported to the district administrative authority.

Another drunk driver went to the police on Wednesday on Westautobahn (A1) near Loosdorf (Melk district). The 41-year-old man had slipped along with his car at 202 km / h and was therefore arrested by the executive. He did a positive preliminary drug test and refused to be taken for a medical exam. The Viennese were forbidden to continue their journey, and the result was a report to the responsible administrative authority.
