The young woman is said to have pretended to be a television journalist in Giuliani. The woman is actress Maria Bakalova, who plays the daughter of the protagonist Borat in Borat 2. In the film, the actress pretends to want to interview Giuliani. After speaking to a fictional news program, the woman flirts with Giuliani. Soon after, the scene that is in the headlines emerges. Giuliani and the woman are interrupted by Borat, played by Sacha Baron Cohen. He runs into the room and says, “He’s 15 years old. He’s too old for you.” In fact, according to the Internet Movie Database, actress Bakalova is 24 years old.
Giuliani called the police
The scene was filmed in a New York hotel room last July. It was already known in the summer that Giuliani had called the police about the undercover shooting. At that time Giuliani told the tabloid portal “Page Six”: “This guy runs in wearing a kind of pink transgender clothing, a pink bikini with suspenders.” Giuliani apparently hadn’t been clear at the time who the man was.
Giuliani cannot be charged with anything illegal based on the scene described. However, the recordings could be uncomfortable for Donald Trump.
