Red flag: after the wild accident was interrupted in the final stretch Focus
The race should have restarted after a safety car phase when the accident occurred in the back field. Leader Valtteri Bottas in the Mercedes had braked a lot previously and only accelerated late. Some of the drivers behind seemed surprised, so there was a collision with several cars.

Accidents on the start lap
