Suljovic’s conqueror Gary Anderson finds himself in the final of the most important tournament on the PDC calendar after a 6: 3 victory in the second semifinals of the World Darts Championship against Dave Chisnall, who again surpassed world number one Michael van Gerwen in the quarterfinals.
The “Flying Scotsman”, who on Sunday (8:30 pm LIVE on DAZN) can take the third trick after his World Cup titles in 2015 and 2016, will face Gerwyn Price in the final. The Welshman prevails in a high-class duel against former BDO world champion Stephen Bunting 6: 4 and is thus in the final of a world darts championship for the first time.
With a victory in the final, the former rugby professional can not only claim the € 500,000 cash prize for his first-time World Cup win, but he can also claim first place in the Order of Merit for first time. Michael van Gerwen from the Netherlands has held this position since 1 January 2014.
