The ORF dance performance was interrupted in the spring due to the crown, and there was no moderator or jury for the final.
Only a few people could be seen in the final of “Dancing Stars” in the ORF ballroom on Friday night, but there were some very irritating cardboard figures on the tables. Dancers, jurors, and moderators bravely set the mood until the winners were determined. It has never lasted so long: in the finale of the ORF dance show, which was interrupted in spring due to the crown and is now coming to an end, ex-ski racer Michi Kirchgasser, singer Cesar Sampson and presenter Silvia Schneider competed many months after its inception. Michi Kirchgasser won it with his partner Vadim Garbuzov.
The final broadcast had to be improvised on short notice. Moderator Klaus Eberhartinger was not allowed to be there due to a false positive Covid-19 test. He then tested negative on PCR and antigen control tests, but he could only wish the show participants the best by turning it on. Eberhartinger was replaced by Norbert Oberhauser, who led the evening together with Kristina Inhof. The week before, the jury Karina Sarkissova tested positive and failed.
