This refers in particular to the introduction of a registration requirement for guests in catering establishments, the maintenance of the curfew at 10 p.m., the prohibition of parties in garages and other rooms that are not used for residential purposes and the reduction of the club’s activities to its original purpose, “so there are no social gatherings. Traffic light regulation and homeschooling
The governor also discussed a possible red light for Vorarlberg at the press conference. If this were to happen, the ninth grade students would be re-taught through homeschooling. Wallner stated that if the numbers don’t stabilize, he expects the stoplight to turn red in the next week or two.

The following state measures will also go into effect on Friday: introducing mandatory guest registration at restaurants, banning parties in garages and other rooms not used for residential purposes, and reducing club activities to your original purpose, that is, without subsequent social gatherings. The gastronomy curfew is still at 10 pm. The maximum number of officially approved events with assigned and marked places is kept at 250 people indoors and 500 outdoors. If the light turns red, ninth graders must go to homeschooling. In view of the upcoming holidays, the governor appealed to reason: “Stay home for Halloween and All Saints, visit the cemetery only with your own home and without large family gatherings.”

Event measurements and mask requirements
As of Friday, only a maximum of six people are allowed in private meetings and events in closed rooms, as long as there are no assigned seats. A new limit also applies here, namely twelve people. The latter also applies to gatherings in the park or on the playground, as well as other leisure activities such as yoga classes, dance schools, birthday parties or clubhouses. Funerals are not affected. Club sports can also continue to be performed, as long as there is a concept of prevention. However, unregistered football matches with more than twelve people are not allowed on the meadow. For all events, indoor and outdoor, a mask is required starting Friday. Also, no food or drinks can be served.
