The seven-day incidence is falling
According to the crown board of the Agency for Health and Food Safety (AGES), Vorarlberg had a significantly better value on Tuesday with the incidence of seven days per 100,000 inhabitants than the previous one. With 485 new infections per 100,000 residents in the past seven days, the state fared better than Salzburg, Upper Austria, Tyrol and Carinthia.
Austria’s average on Tuesday was 432.
The districts of Vorarlberg are no longer among the worst affected areas in Austria. The four districts of Vorarlberg have a seven-day incidence between 440 and 540 and are therefore roughly in the center of the whole of Austria.
