The Corona traffic light will turn yellow tomorrow for the Korneuburg district. This is reported by the APA, which obtained its information from the Corona traffic light commission. In addition to Korneuburg, Wiener Neustadt, a second district in Lower Austria, will also turn yellow. Yellow means “medium risk” based on moderate cases, mostly clusters. The respective colors of the traffic lights are associated with certain measurements.
For example, when the traffic light is yellow, customers must wear mouth and nose protection (MNS) even in production facilities. Gastronomy is excluded, where the mask requirement only applies to service personnel. For events in closed rooms with assigned seats, the maximum number of people will be reduced from 5,000 (green light) to 2,500. Unlike the green phase, the mask requirement also applies to the fixed seat. For indoor events without an assigned seat, a maximum of 100 people is allowed, with a green traffic light the limit is a maximum of 200 people.
In schools, mouth and nose protection is mandatory for everyone who does not attend class, sports are mainly performed outdoors and only singing outdoors or with MNS is allowed.
