According to the organizers, the Lower Austrian popular culture Advent chant in the auditorium has also been canceled. The Tonkünstler Orchestra Christmas concerts under the direction of Ton Koopman on December 5 and 6 could take place as planned.
“It was important for us to make the decision as soon as possible to keep the financial damage to our partners and everyone involved as low as possible,” explained Grafenegg Managing Director Philipp Stein. “We hope that the traditional Grafenegger Advent can take place again next year in the way that many appreciate,” said Norbert Gollinger, Regional Director of ORF Lower Austria.
