In Austria, 681 new corona infections were recorded on Wednesday, the Interior Ministry reported in a broadcast. 11 new cases were added in the state of Salzburg.
As of today, 777 people in Austria have died from the consequences of the corona virus and 30,949 have recovered. There are currently 413 people in hospital treatment, 77 of them in intensive care units.
New infections since the last report are distributed among the Austrian federal states as follows:
- Burgenland: 33
- Carinthia: 19
- Lower Austria: 100
- Upper Austria: 92
- Salzburg: 11
- Steiermark: 30
- Tyrol: 66
- Vorarlberg: 25
- Vienna: 305
