A 91-year-old man from the Oberwart district died in connection with the corona virus. This means that there have been 17 deaths from Covid 19 in the state so far.

The number of people currently infected in Burgenland has risen from 20 to 435, confirmed cases have risen to 1,625. 1,173 people had recovered or 26 more than the previous day. 30 Covid 19 patients were treated at Burgenland hospitals on Sunday, three of them in intensive care units.

1,587 people were under officially ordered quarantine. That was 87 more than Saturday.
