What measures are planned in Orange?

If the traffic light is orange, the curfew is brought forward to midnight. A minimum distance of one meter must be maintained from people outside the home. Oral and nasal protection (MNS) is applied in public transport, as well as when entering supermarkets, service stations, banks, post offices, pharmacies, nursing homes, hospitals and health spas, doctor’s offices, ordinations and others health and social facilities.

The traffic light shows “Orange”: the obligation of MNS is extended

At Orange, MNS is also mandatory for people in contact with customers if the minimum distance cannot be maintained and no other suitable protective device is available and there is direct, immediate and long-term contact (e.g. hairdresser, massage and nail salon).

In Orange, mouth and nose protection is also provided in contact with risk groups and for catering staff on duty, as well as in all public areas in closed rooms (including catering for guests except in the dining room) . Outdoors it is mandatory to wear a mask in the orange case if distance cannot be maintained.

What are the exceptions to the MNS obligation?

Children under the age of six and people who cannot use mouth and nose protection for health reasons are also “exempt” from Orange.

What does orange mean for events, meetings and fairs?

Regulations for this area are expected to take effect from October 1. For events with assigned seating in closed rooms, Orange allows a maximum of 250 people (outdoors: 500), with no assigned seating 25 (50). Visitors must use MNS, also in the fixed place and in outdoor events, as well as the staff with contact with the guests. Orange is also not an event catering business. It is recommended to collect contact details. A prevention concept is mandatory for 200 visitors.

Can you exercise in Orange?

Yes, but the minimum distance applies and there must be no physical contact.
