At its meeting today, the Corona Commission reached the same result as the previous week: there is currently a very high risk of infection throughout Austria, which is why all federal states remain red at the traffic light in Corona.
According to the Corona Commission, there is still a very high risk of contagion with the virus throughout Germany, so the traffic light will remain red from tomorrow, Friday. This applies to all districts, all federal states and Austria as a state.

As always, the Corona Commission’s assessment was conducted taking into account transmission risk, traceability of transmission chains, testing activity, and hospital resource utilization.
The next meeting of the commission will take place next Thursday. The final stoplight switch will be posted after the commission meeting at corona-ampel.gv.at and in teletext on page 659.
