714 new Coronavorus infections reported in Austria on Saturday.

In a 24-hour comparison, there were 714 new infections with the corona virus on Saturday (at 9.30am). There were 297 cases in Vienna.
As of today (September 26, 2020, 9:30 am), 787 people in Austria have died from the consequences of the coronavirus and 33,154 have recovered. There are currently 423 people in hospital treatment for coronavirus and 80 of them are in intensive care units.
714 new infections in more than 17,000 tests
Across Austria, 17,443 tests have been entered in the Epidemiological Register Register (EMS) since Thursday morning (20,409 the day before). As usual, the figures were very different in different federal states. In Vienna there were 5,488, in Lower Austria 3,280, in Upper Austria 1,946 and in Carinthia 502. In Styria 2,463 tests were reported in the last 24 hours, in Tyrol 1,893 and in Vorarlberg 1,062. In Burgenland, 592 tests were added compared to Thursday, in Salzburg there were only 217. A total of 1,545,634 PCR tests have been carried out across Austria since the start of the pandemic.
