10,508 vehicles were checked in the 44 Tyrol road control areas, at the airport and at the aerodromes, as well as in rail traffic. Around 430 police and armed forces were continuously deployed. Apart from “shorter waiting times on the A12 at the Kufstein / Kiefersfelden border crossing”, there was no congestion.

In general, according to the executive, the criticisms were calm and with a “high level of acceptance”, with “expressions of disgust” that only occurred occasionally. Most of the travelers had a test with them; otherwise the four mobile test stations on the Salzburg borders at Waidring, Hochfilzen and Pass Thurn and at the transition to Vorarlberg at Pettneu am Arlberg would have proved their worth. There were more than 500 tests performed there, none of which were positive.
