Corona Monday: what’s really changing now – politics

[ad_1]

Crown numbers have increased dramatically in Austria for several days. Stronger measures will take effect on Monday.

The government is tightening the measures again due to the increase in the crown number. On Saturday night, Health Minister Rudolf Anschober (Greens) announced the regulation on the website.

Starting Monday at 00.00 a.m. M., A mask requirement will be applied again in almost all indoor public access areas, as well as the setting at events and in the dining area. Until now, the NMS obligation only applied in grocery stores, pharmacies, banks, gas stations, and public transportation.

A mask should be reused in the following places:

► throughout the trade
► In waitress catering, indoors, food and beverages can only be enjoyed in the seats.
► Sitting at the bar is banned again.
► Service areas with customer contact
► Party relations with the authorities
► in schools outside the classroom

Mask requirement at indoor sporting events

Additionally, the mask requirement was expanded to other areas. Mouth and nose protection should also be worn when visiting indoor sporting events, museums, libraries, exhibitions, and other leisure facilities. You also need a mask in the pools, unless you are in the pool or in the showers.

There are also hardening in the catering sector. From the moment he enters a restaurant for the first time until he reaches the administration point, the customer must maintain a distance of at least one meter from other people who do not belong to his group of visitors. The same applies when leaving the restaurant. The curfew is still at one.

To avoid guests staying too close together in the restaurant sector, eating and drinking will only be allowed while sitting. The regulations speak of “management positions”. However, there is no mask requirement for guests, only for staff.

As an alternative to the mask for services, the regulation mentions Plexiglas glasses as a protection measure. This means that in the future, the supermarket checkout staff will not necessarily have to wear mouth and nose protection.

Mini events

Events are shrinking again. Events without assigned and marked seats with more than 50 people are no longer allowed in closed rooms, 100 people are no longer allowed outdoors.

If there are assigned and marked seats at an event, a maximum of 1,500 people will be allowed in closed rooms, while outdoor events are limited to 3,000 people. No need to wear mouth and nose protection in assigned seats. Events with more than 200 people must appoint a CoV officer and develop and implement a corresponding CoV prevention concept.
