Freedom to travel restricted

In the “red zones”, which currently include South Tyrol, Aosta Valley, Piedmont, Lombardy and Calabria, restrictions on freedom of movement are said to exist. Citizens should only be able to leave their homes for work or health reasons, or because they have to accompany their children to school. Factories and other industrial operations should remain open.

Gyms will be closed. Sports can only be practiced not far from your own home, but a distance of one meter must be maintained. In the “red zones” all businesses that do not provide life support will be closed. This applies to hairdressers and beauty salons, among other things. All restaurants are closed all day. Only delivery and take-out services are allowed. The measures will remain in effect in the red zones for at least two weeks.
