Three other people died as a result of Covid 19 disease.
As of noon on Friday, 4,532 people from Vorarlberg are currently actively infected with the corona virus, down from 4,548 at noon and 4,644 on Thursday at midnight (the state of Vorarlberg has adjusted the periods since yesterday).
Since the pandemic began in March, a total of 144,065 corona tests have been performed, of which 11,369 were positive. 6,774 people have recovered, 63 died (+3).
Districts
Most of those actively infected are still in the Bregenz district (1609), followed by Dornbirn (1207), Feldkirch (1101) and Bludenz (582).
Municipalities
At the community level, most of those actively infected are in Dornbirn, Lustenau, Bregenz and Feldkirch.
High incidence of 7 days
According to the crown board of the Agency for Health and Food Safety (AGES), Vorarlberg had the worst value of all Austrian federal states for the incidence of seven days per 100,000 inhabitants on Thursday. With 850 new infections per 100,000 inhabitants in the last seven days, the state was ahead of Upper Austria (810) and Tyrol (707).
The Austrian average for the seven-day incidence was 554 on Friday.
The four Vorarlberg districts currently have a seven-day incidence of more than 661. The Vorarlberg “hotspot” with an incidence of 1037 remains the Dornbirn district.
