Visits to hospitals, health centers and homes for the elderly and the elderly will be limited in the course of the second closure in Austria.
Through November 17 inclusive, visits are only allowed every other day, with a maximum of one visitor per day. In general, patients, the elderly, and those needing care in hospitals and homes can receive a maximum of two different visitors during the next two weeks.
Visitors need a negative test or an FFP2 mask
The social minister Rudolf Anschober (Greens) announced the corresponding measures at the joint government press conference on the second shutdown. All visitors must show a negative test result or wear appropriate respiratory protection – an FFP2 mask. The minimum distance must be respected. The exceptions are hospice and palliative care, as well as pastoral care for critical life events. Outside service providers other than medical providers are prohibited from entering nursing homes and retirement homes.
Employees are also evaluated weekly
Employees at the respective facility must, based on availability, submit a negative antigen or PCR test result each week. Alternatively, an FFP2 mask can be worn throughout the job.
