Red Bull Salzburg finally has clarity on the venue for the first leg of the Champions League playoff duel with Maccabi Tel Aviv.
As announced by the Salzburg team, the away game against the Israeli champions will take place on Tuesday, September 22 at Tel Aviv’s Bloomfield Stadium, despite the Corona lockdown that will take effect on Friday.
That was determined by UEFA, according to a broadcast. Spectators will not be allowed.

“Personally, I don’t want to play in Israel. Because it is dangerous at the moment, it is dangerous for our group,” Salzburg coach Jesse Marsch told a news conference on Thursday afternoon.
