On Friday morning a serious traffic accident occurred on Eferdinger Strasse, near Waizenkirchen (Grieskirchen district).
“On November 6, 2020, around 5:50 AM, a 47-year-old man from the Schärding district was driving a car in Waizenkirchen on the Eferdinger Strasse in the Auweidenholz area. Therefore, for an inexplicable cause , turned slightly to the left to the right on the shoulder of the road, ripped the steering wheel and left the road to the left. The man jumped his car over the ditch, rolled and lay on his side in the adjacent field, “he reported police.
Emergency services removed the windshield and were able to free the vehicle’s handlebars. He received first aid from the ambulance service and the emergency room doctor and was later transferred to the Wels Clinic.
The Eferdinger Strasse was closed for about an hour and a half between Waizenkirchen and Peuerbach. Firefighters diverted traffic through Heiligenberg.
