A serious traffic accident between two cars occurred in Ansfelfen (Linz-Land district) on Saturday afternoon.

For previously unknown reasons, two cars collided at Ansfeldenerstrasse and Ritzlhofstrasse in Ansfelden municipality. One of the accident vehicles overturned after the collision, stopped on the roof of a driveway, and started to burn. The rescuers extinguished the fire with a powder extinguisher and were able to free the people involved from the accident vehicles. When the fire department arrived, everyone involved was released from the vehicles. Ambulance service, emergency medical team and team of emergency medical helicopter Christophorus 10 treated the wounded and then took them to hospital with injuries of undetermined degree and serious injuries. The fire brigade carried out the clean-up work at the accident site together with the towing company.

Ansfeldener Straße was closed to traffic for about an hour in the area of ​​the crash site.
