Serious accident in southeastern Styria! During a night trip, a car crashed into the ditch: two dead and two seriously injured.
In the early hours of Sunday morning there was a serious traffic accident on the L216 (Saaz, district of south-eastern Styria). Two 21-year-olds died, one 19 and the other 18 seriously injured.
The occupants of the car from the Southeastern Styria district pulled their car out of the lane at 5:20 am on L216 for currently unknown reasons and fell into a ditch. The vehicle overturned, collided with a tree, and stopped on the roof.
Helicopter in action
The 21-year-old driver and the co-pilot of the same age died at the scene of the accident due to their serious injuries. The 19-year-old and the 18-year-old were in the back seat and suffered serious, life-threatening injuries. The two survivors were admitted to the LKH Graz and Feldbach.
In addition to a team of emergency medics, four WCC rescue vehicles, the Christophorus 12 rescue helicopter, the Feldbach and Paldau fire brigades and the crisis intervention team were on duty at the crash site.
