In Pennewang (Wels-Land District), a car driver lost control of his vehicle Saturday night and crashed into a railing.
The driver of the car was on Saturday night on Irnhartinger Strasse in the community of Pennewang in the direction of Gunskirchen when he lost control of his vehicle for an unknown cause and rammed a railing over a small bridge over the Breitenauer Bach. The car suffered serious damage. Emergency services at the scene attended to the driver of the car and it was not necessary to transport him to the hospital, according to initial information. The fire brigade carried out the cleaning work at the accident site, the leaked operational resources were tied up. The car was eventually brought in by a towing company.
Irnhartinger Strasse was closed to traffic in the accident scene area for approximately one hour. The fire department organized a local diversion.
