The Styrians beat SKN St. Pölten 3-0 at home and rose to second place for at least a day. The Hütteldorfer are behind 1-0 in Admira only by the worst goal difference behind the Styrians tied on points.
TSV Hartberg improved to seventh place thanks to a 1-0 home win over SCR Altach. Vorarlberg is still one point ahead of Admira’s penultimate. The last round before winter break will conclude on Sunday with the Red Bull Salzburg – WAC, WSG Tirol – SV Ried (2.30pm each) and Austria – LASK (5.00pm) games.
