Jon Gorenc-Stankovic hit the penalty area in the 43rd minute and hit the goal to make it 1-0. Before that, the fan boost phase hadn’t produced anything countable. After the break, forward Kevin Friesenbichler (58th) and in injury time Gregory Wüthrich (93rd) met again for the efficient Grazers, who are in third place at least until Sunday afternoon.
The home crowd started very strong and with three dangerous actions in the first ten minutes. At 70 seconds, captain Stefan Hierländer put the ball right outside the goal after a pass from Dante. Jakob Jantscher (6th) followed from a tight angle, while Andreas Leitner in Admira’s goal had to defend himself to the side. And after a free-kick variant with two seasons in between, David Nemeth hit the crossbar in the 8th minute.
Quite dangerous guests
After that, Admira gained more and more control against ÖFB team boss Franco Foda.
