On Tuesday morning there was a serious accident on the southern motorway (A2) between Wiener Neudorf and the industrial center of Lower Austria-South, in which nine cars and a truck were involved. As a result, there was a kilometer-long traffic jam; According to ARBÖ, more than an hour more in the direction of Graz and half an hour in the direction of Vienna should be allowed.

Accident in A2: no serious injuries
No serious injuries were reported in connection with the accident on the southern highway (A2) in the direction of Graz, near Wiener Neudorf (Mödling district). Three men suffered minor injuries, the Red Cross reported. While two of them were being treated at the scene, one had to be taken to the Baden State Hospital.
According to the Lower Austrian state police headquarters, the accident happened on Tuesday morning around 6:10 am after a car skidded. Seven vehicles were directly involved in the collision, three more were damaged by debris on the road. Sometimes two lanes were closed, but the delay was cleared as of 8 a.m.
