37 year old succumbs to injuries in Bregenz

A 37-year-old woman from Wolfurt (Bregenz district) was seriously injured in the head by her partner in Bregenz at the end of November and died as a result of the consequences on Sunday (6 December) at the Feldkirch regional hospital.
Police reported Tuesday. The suspect, a 37-year-old German living in Dornbirn, was detained in Feldkirch prison.
Bregenz: woman suffered serious head injuries
On November 26, the police were called to a house in Bregenz around 10 pm because an unapproachable woman was sitting on the stairs. There were hardly any externally visible injuries, so officers initially assumed a medical emergency.
The 37-year-old man was taken with the rescue to Feldkirch State Hospital, where serious head injuries were found. The woman died of the consequences ten days later, despite intensive medical treatment. The investigation revealed that the woman had an argument with her partner on November 26. The 37-year-old woman likely inflicted serious head injuries, police said.
