On Wednesday, 95 pigs were crammed into a conveyor in a parking lot in front of a butcher shop in Innviertel for hours on Wednesday. According to the police, the animals remained in the trailer from 12.30pm to 1.15pm and had already started hurting each other.

On Wednesday lunchtime, the Braunau district butcher shop took over the delivery of 167 pigs. 72 of them were immediately unloaded and euthanized. The remaining 95 were left in the supplier’s trailer, which was parked near the butcher shop. Apparently, the neighbors noticed the screams of the animals. According to the police, the animals did not receive food or water.
