BRANDBERG (red). On August 30, 2020, around 8:50 am, the Brandberg volunteer fire brigade was alerted by a siren about a rockfall at the Häusling power station in Zillergrund.
A large rock thundered from the opposite side and leaped over the stream. A material cable car was completely destroyed and the road suffered massive damage. No one was injured, the Zillergrund Turnpike will remain completely closed until further notice.
