The Swarovski crystal company is once again causing a stir with its dubious termination methods.
The crown pandemic hit the Swarovski crystal company hard. The company would like to cut a fifth of its employees worldwide. 1,000 employees will lose their jobs at Wattens alone.

A Swarovski spokesperson confirmed that the names were on the screens, but claimed those employees had been informed in advance. So they would not have found out about its termination “through the screen.” “If a manager has failed in a department, the company’s management regrets it,” the group said in a statement.
For AK boss Zangerl, the company’s approach condemned: “Externally, you present yourself socially, internally, you show your true face.” According to him, employees are “under massive pressure.”

According to the Chamber of Labor, those affected should not in any way agree and communicate with the chamber. The ÖGB Tirol was also “surprised by the different and sometimes very reprehensible finishing methods used by Swarovski”.
