There have already been 885 demonstrations or meetings in connection with the crown measures in Austria since the end of December. Twelve officers and five protesters were injured. Nearly 10,800 reports were filed and 215 arrests were made.

Most likely, the focus is on Vienna’s city center, where several thousand people marched two weeks ago, often ignoring Crown rules. The president of the liberal club Herbert Kickl also had two rhetorical appearances, several members of his party accompanied him.
This time, the FPÖ is not planning any activities, he said when asked. Kickl will also not participate in any rally. It is not yet known if other liberal leaders will appear.
Police Chairman Gerhard Pürstl appealed to the population to stay away from large prohibited events in view of the increasing number of infections.
