Blue concerns: identity and schnitzel

[ad_1]

In the 17 months of government participation, the FP tried to distance itself from far-right identities. Which resulted in a board decision prohibiting active identities from being party officials at the same time. The case of 17-year-old Salzburg resident Roman M., who is supposed to be close to the Identitren and coupled with FP youth, has rekindled the discussion.

In turquoise blue times, Chancellor Sebastian Kurz (VP) called for the error of a withdrawal. “This distancing has definitely ended,” said FP General Secretary Michael Schnedlitz in the right-wing magazine “Info Direkt”. With the aforementioned young FP politician, an Austrian of impeccable reputation is being dragged through the mud. His “red line” is the penal code, the rest is free speech, Schnedlitz said regarding identities.

The president of FP, Norbert Hofer, recalled yesterday the resolution of the board mentioned at the beginning. “None of that has changed.” Schnedlitz then spoke of a misinterpretation. His statement only referred to the specific case of Salzburg.

Picked pea soup for baking

In another case, FP deputy Christian Hafenecker is considering resisting. Hafenecker drank a beer at an inn in his hometown of Kaumberg (N) on Saturday. He was caught by the police with eight other people at the bar. Now they threaten him with a complaint for an unauthorized meeting under the Covid 19 Measures Act. Hafenecker’s justification: He was waiting for his food, a pea soup and a schnitzel to be picked up. If the report is received, it will consider an appeal.
