Episcopal vicar Željko Odobašić, parish priest of Trausdorf, tested positive for Covid-19 after symptoms appeared, as the diocese of Eisenstadt announced yesterday. The contact persons were segregated and also tested for the virus, including diocesan Bishop Agidius J. Zsifkovics.
TRAUSDORF. After symptoms appeared, Trausdorf’s pastor, Željko Odobašić, tested positive for Covid-19. Since the pastor also participated in a Fatima celebration in the former Baumgarten monastery and in a meeting at the bishop’s court in Eisenstadt, all category 1 people, that is, those people who had direct contact with the sick person before symptoms appeared, they were quarantined by the authorities. and also tested for Covid-19.
No religious services in Trausdorf
There will be no services in Trausdorf until further notice. In the bishop’s court of Eisenstadt, where a meeting with Odobašić as a participant took place, strict precautionary measures were taken until the test results of all contact persons were available. Starting Monday, all employees will move to the home office. At the moment, clients are requested to only contact the administrative offices by phone or email.
